Completing the trio in 2005 with Rescue 263, Delmar Fire District had decided to standardize its ambulances with the Ford truck body and Road Rescue Ultramedic combination. Rescue 261, 262 and 263 are 2000, 2002 and 2004 model years respectively. Each ambulance is equipped as a Signal 500 (Intermediate Level) ambulance complete with equipment for Basic Life Support, defibrillation, spinal immobilization, intubation and IVs. The ambulances' running order is rotated on a set schedule. The district stocks each ambulance either with one of two Medtronic Physio-control Lifepak 12 units or a Medtronic Physio-control Lifepak 500 unit.
